2. Solder paste application and inspection

3. SMT pick-and-place

4. Pre-reflow inspection

AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) checks component placement to identify any prone soldering issues and prevent economic losses due to defective reflow soldering.

5. Reflow soldering

In a nitrogen atmosphere, we have a reflow soldering to the AI server PCBA under a controlled profile for high-reliability joints.

6. Post-reflow inspection

AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) checks visible solder joints and component presence.

X-ray inspection is used for BGA and hidden solder joints to detect voids, cold joints, insufficient solder, or bridging in the GPU area.

7. Thermal interface application & mechanical fittings

We install and securely anchor retention brackets, screw posts, and standoffs for heatsinks. We also mount and fasten metal heatsinks, cold plates, or vapor chambers onto the AI server PCB.

8. Functional test

Power-on smoke test, measure voltages, program BIOS/firmware, and run board-level functional checks.

9. Burn-in testing

AI server PCBs go into burn-in racks, where workload tools run for hours to days to detect early failures. Thermal cycling is applied to confirm stability under load.

10. Final QA and traceability

We label and attach serial numbers and test reports to each AI server PCBA unit. If the units need conformal coating, special shipping packaging, or custom firmware, we process accordingly.
